If you accept that hypothesis, then we can classify luck and deal with it as we deal with risk. Don't you agree? In fact, James Austin took the pain to classify luck in his book, Chase, chance, and creativity. He say there are four types of luck. The first one is blind luck. When we talk about luck, that is what we usually mean.  The second one is active luck. You do something because you love doing it. You don't have any big strategic plans behind your action.
